My research interests lie at the intersection of breast cancer genomics, tumor immunotherapy, structural biology, and machine learning. As a Research Associate, I utilize computational approaches and wet lab techniques to unravel complex problems in biomedicine. My expertise spans next-generation sequencing, drug design, cancer bioinformatics, and applying machine learning to analyze large-scale cancer genomics data. Specifically, I am interested in:- Understanding drug resistance mechanisms in breast cancer. - Developing neoantigen prediction pipelines and prioritization algorithms to enable personalized cancer immunotherapy. This involves integrating patient HLA type, tumor mutation profile, and immunogenicity predictions from structural modeling.- Analyzing proteogenomic and multi-omics cancer data to identify tumor-specific antigens, splice isoforms, and gene signatures that can inform novel immunotherapeutic targets. - Creating predictive models using deep learning and ensemble methods to forecast response to immune checkpoint inhibitors from omics and clinical variables.- Elucidating mechanisms of immune evasion and resistance by cancer cells through integrated analysis of tumor sequencing data, immunogenomics, and cell-cell interactomics.- Designing immunoinformatics frameworks to predict optimal combinatorial immunotherapy strategies based on computational modeling of the tumor-immune system interplay.Experienced with Nextflow and Snakemake workflow managers to create reproducible and scalable bioinformatics pipelinesProficient in using Jupyter Notebooks and R Markdown for documenting analysis, visualizations, and resultsSkilled in Linux environment, version control with Git and GitHub, containerization with Docker, and using cloud platforms like AWS. Proficient in various laboratory techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, protein purification, western blotting, enzyme assays, tissue and cell culture.
