Thesis: Experimental Studies of the Unusual and Fragile Ferromagnetism of LaCrGe3 and LaCrSb3- Researched strange magnetic phenomena in single crystal ferromagnets. Demystified the unusual magnetization curve of LaCrGe3 by measuring and modeling its ferromagnetic domain behavior.- Examined the possibility of hard-axis ordering in LaCr(1-x)VxGe3 and revealed the importance of sample alignment in an MPMS- Found that a Quantum Tricritical Point in Fe-substituted LaCrSb3 is approached, but ultimately avoided.

Taught introductory physics to bio-science majors and electronics lab to physics majors.- Taught physics majors to build custom analog electronics and test them with oscilloscopes and function generators- Introduced logic circuits, FPGA (Verilog), microcontrollers for data collection, and Python for data analysis

I performed scanning SQUID experiments on thin film cuprates. I also designed and built custom electronics crucial to running scanning SQUID microscopes.

I made sure our daily newspaper ran with appropriate photos. I covered protests, championships and concerts. I also photographed President Obama.
