As Medical Director for Medical services, I was responsible for designing solutions and implementing clinical governance for International SOS's Medical Services in India. These pre-hospital medical facilities across India ranged from medically remote high risk locations in austere environments to urban corporate sites with unique health demands. and i had the responsibility of monitoring and mentoring 100 plus medical staff.Amongst many achievements during this tenure, successful development and deployment of pre-hospital emergency management protocols at remote medical locations, development of training curriculum for medical and non-medical staff and development of preventive health care programs like chronic disease care plans for combating Non Communicable diseases were a few. Was also responsible for managing patient escalations and providing second opinion and case management guidance to the medical teams across our clinics. I was also responsible for helping many business in various industries understand and quantify their health risk and led many Health Consulting projects to this effect. these contributions helped reinforce the healthy consulting practice at International SOS for our clients.

Setup Pre-hospital Emergency Management systems for Emergency Medical Services (EMS).This included spearheading improvisation of Ambulance design, setting up of emergency response centre and development of structured training programs for Nurses operating in pre-hospital environment (Paramedics) Setup a professional training institute for pre-hospital emergency stabilisation training for Nurses and Doctors and was responsible for the quality assurance and operations.Developed a consulting practice with bespoke methodology and quality reporting tools for clients in Energy, Mining and Infrastructure industries.Led the development of clinical and operational aspect of Emergency response centre with automation of medical triage systems for first call receivers and also case management software development and serve as the point of escalation for clinicians deputed at various clinics for guidance on case management and second opinion.
