Developed tools for efficient management of these projects.• Managed an outsourcing program for transferring plastics parts from a GE plant to an external supplier which mitigated a major supply chain risk. Ensured accurate on time completion of the program without any impact to customer deliveries. Fostered collaboration among team members, which motivated them to achieve their highest potential. This program led to an annual savings of 1.7 million USD and had a budget of 4 million USD. Received the JJ Murphy award and a GE Silver award for managing this program.• Led a program to outsource specialty MRI service spares in support of the Specialty Magnetic Resonance (SMR) plant closure. Cultivated supplier relations and coordinated supplier and GE activities to ensure on time program completion. Provided direction and motivation to create a positive work environment during the program despite organizational problems such as downsizing and internal conflict. Received recognition from GM of Sourcing for completing this program. • Successfully collaborated with cross-functional leadership teams to develop business cases for over 50 supplier transfers.• Standardized and simplified the scheduling process for supplier transfers by creating a tool using Fastworks concepts. Received a GE Bronze award for developing this tool. • Managed 18 supplier transfer programs and received 7 awards for outstanding performance in this role.

Developed strong relationships with managers and staff creating a cohesive and productive team within a deadline driven environment.• Successfully managed a program to reduce the cost of CASE and CASE ES systems which generated annual savings of 400 thousand USD.• Led a circuit board outsourcing project to Plexus that helped fulfill pending orders for spare parts for the STRESS ECG treadmill.• Successfully redesigned the circuit boards and power supplies on the STRESS ECG treadmill to make them compliant with IEC 60601 3rd edition. Ensured on-time completion of the project to support the continued sale of this product in the EU region.

This product generated approximately 6 million USD in revenue in 2011. • Led the hardware integration effort on 1.5T and 3.0T GE Signa HDxt MRI NPI program. This product earned more than 50 million USD in revenue for GE in 2008. Received a Night out on Town award from GE for work on this program.• Led the hardware integration effort on a program to release Optima MR450w, GE’s first wide bore 1.5T MRI scanner.• Led the hardware integration effort on Discovery MR750 NPI program. This product earned 120 million USD in the first year of the product launch. Received a GE Curie 2 award for outstanding leadership on this program.• Worked with an external vendor to successfully develop a prototype for a wireless physiological acquisition controller. Received a Night out on Town award from GE for work on this project.• Designed and implemented a Nios-II based design in an Altera FPGA to control the Scan Room Electronics and also a circuit board for interfacing with the RF Amplifier.• Implemented the FPGA design in the multi-coil driver board that interfaces with MR surface coils

• Successfully led a team of engineers on projects to the design and implement an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmitter and a software radio using Xilinx FPGAs.• Implemented a Micro-controller for transmission and reception of video inside a Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA.• Designed and implemented Fixed Point and floating point FFTs and various floating point modules using Xilinx FPGAs.
