Rahul has over 19 years of work experience in multi-jurisdictional environments having held legal leadership roles in organizations such as Schlumberger, Vedanta – Cairn Oil and Gas and Kalpataru Projects International. Rahul has built a strong sectoral legal expertise in Energy & Infrastructure in the last 14 plus years. Rahul’s expertise in the sector as an in-house counsel and his ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory requirements enables him to provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions that align with their business objectives. Rahul has advised on the structuring, negotiating and drafting of an array of contracts for high value complex projects for oil & gas exploration, production and processing facilities, solar power plants, overhead transmission line and substations. Rahul has also led outbound acquisitions and setting up of WOS and JVs in various jurisdictions. During his professional career, Rahul has also obtained significant experience in conduct and defence of Ethics and Compliance investigations and has also led the design & implementation of integrity compliance framework (policies, procedures and processes) in multiple organizations.
