Prepared Business Plans/Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the company’s new/diversified businesses ventures. I started as a Management Trainee at their production facility at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh and over a period of time, was given the responsibility for identifying key/critical processes and their subsequent re-engineering to ensure improved Operational Efficiency & Cost Reduction. I supported the Plant Head and the VP (Operations) in coordinating between various functions - Purchase, Finance, Stores and Production Planning, to ensure effective control and operations, including productivity across the unit. During this period I also handled assignments as Project Lead for setting up new production facilities - responsibility for planning, executing and meeting specified quality, cost and timeline project deliverables. I successfully executed projects to set up assembly units for Inverters, Mobile Phones and Mobile Accessories in different parts of Himachal Pradesh, and an IT automation project for Barcode implementation in the existing production facilities. I was also part of a Cross Functional Team (CFT) to streamline the customer service and warranty administration functions of the Company – this involved interaction with field staff, sales Depots and Service Centres in different parts of the country, the central Service HQ at Delhi, Manufacturing units, and Corporate Office. Transferred subsequently to the Corporate Office as Asst. Manager, Strategic Operations, I was part of the Decision Support System and Execution Cell, working closely with cross functional teams and SBU Heads. My specific responsibilities included Supply Chain optimization for VLRA batteries to capitalize on the large market potential available. Following through on my earlier Warranty Administration project, I also participated actively in an initiative to maximize revenues while minimizing costs for the Group’s After-Sales Service Division.

Two Months full time internship program with NIIT Ltd. in 2008 – the project assignment covered “Methods of Raising funds through debt”. This internship was towards fulfillment of the Management Program requirements at ITS; Ghaziabad.
