I implemented new features and bug fixes in several areas of the product, and collaborated closely with team members on two major projects. The first project was the enterprise dashboard, where I implemented features such as batch editing multiple user roles at once, optimizations to minimize database calls, functionality for transferring project ownership in the front-end, and a health check that tells developers when an API is unhealthy. The second project was the company’s command line interface, rdme, where I worked on features such as project version selection options for commands, validation for linking multiple markdown files to their respective documentation categories, and handling invalid formatting and $ref bundling of OpenAPI Spec files.

As a member of the insurance claim adjudication team, my role was to understand Optum’s claims processing software and use this knowledge to update their tests. I learned how the software works through a bootcamp that used Java to build REST API’s and fixed the tests to verify that the software worked as intended.

Designed and built a static website for a company that engages in meditation techniques and retreats. I used Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to accomplish this.
