• Responsible for purchasing and the procurement of Non-Production material and services. • Prepare RFQs, examine prices, evaluate all quotes that are received, monitor the availability of items, compare specifications, and review alternatives to determine the most desirable suppliers using tools such as Decision Matrix, and EXCEL-calculation.• Locate and evaluate new suppliers. • Issue, maintain and store purchase orders for supplies and services for all departments in order to support ongoing plant operations. • Work closely with involved departments (specification, the scope of work, approvals, lead times, etc.) • Maintain supplier relationships focusing on superior quality, competitive price, and timely delivery. • Communicate with suppliers concerning RFX, POs, Deliveries, and other issues. • Define and negotiate supplies, warranty agreements, and other contractual/legal items as required. • Identification of synergy potential between group companies of NRB locations, coordination of volume bundling & making the contracts.

• Integral part of project team responsible for optimizing internal processes and standards.• Prepare, execute and monitor biddings, bid appraisals and supplier selection.• Review and analyze procurement requirements and prepare, negotiate and close supplier contracts.• Clarify and record requirements as regards amounts and technical specifications with ordering department/function.• Identify potential for synergies between the different purchasing departments of the regional locations and coordination of bundling of purchasing volumes.• Develop and conduct cost optimizing measures and activities.• Monitoring suppliers capability and capacity to deliver appropriately and revise supplier appraisals accordingly if required.• Appraise potential suppliers and extend supplier portfolio with adequate new suppliers.• Identify areas of supply chain improvement and/or cost reduction for assigned field of responsibility.• Contact suppliers regarding material problems and support resolution process.

• Dealing with direct, Indirect material suppliers for production, maintenance, services, transportation and contract related procurement (Local and Import).• Approval of purchase request, creation of comparative statement & PO in the ERP system.• Responsible for drafting agreement for repetitive materials & services purchase and ensuring execution of agreed course of action.• Negotiating with the vendors for overall procurement while coordinating with the higher authorities, ensuring statutory and company compliances.• Ensuring smooth co-ordination with indenting department and corresponding with vendors on scope of supply and specifications.• Challenged to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials as per specifications within the set quality and timely delivery of materials.• Maintaining the records by working in ERP system, relating to the materials management, by supplier and by department, purchase orders and goods requisitions and the Stock take records.• Extensive knowledge of ICC Incoterms 2010, general payment terms and Indian taxation system.• Co-ordination with stores department for stock movement, inventory management and with Accounts department for Vendor payment and Invoice booking related activities.• Supplier quality and qualification analysis.• Vendor data management.• Implement ideas that lead to process improvements (cost, time, service improvement).• Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process & action.• Learning & operating new systems and various processes.

• Maintenance of end user’s requisitions upon receipt, raise enquiries from existing and prospective suppliers for provision of quotations.• Preparing Quotation Evaluation Sheet, Negotiate with suppliers & drafting the purchase order through SAP MM Module, Send them to the suppliers, Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis for timely and proper delivery of ordered material.• Documentation and maintaining records.
