Process Engineer
CurrentCurrently working as a process in charge of 340KA GAMI smelter looking after on following responsibility- Monitoring Operational and Technical parameters. I.E:-Anode changing, metal tapping, Beam raising, breaker changing, Current efficiency, Metal Purity, Process Measurements & Improvements.- Monitor excess Alf3%, bath temp, liquid levels, set voltages, CVD, CBT, SST, CCD & other voltage drop.- Supervision of an operation team ensuring compliance and follow-up of SOP pot line.- Monitoring & Adjusting pot line Process parameters as per process study and follow up of pots Day to Day basis.- Analyzing shift, daily, weekly, monthly reports of pots for Achieving Good Current efficiency .Adjusting process for pots to run at restricted amperage by thermally balancing pots (Additional Resistance, Excess Alf3).- Interdepartmental interfacing of pot line level 2 with cast house, Carbon and substation.- Monitoring & Analyzing pot feeding data, Tracking Duration, Anode Effects Data. (Duration, energies, impossible AE) for better process control.- Instability Follow up and abnormal pots treatment.- Follow up of pot line purity & Investigating & Treatment of ironing pots.
