I am a part-timer graphic designer at Scrath Craft Awards, having this experience while reconciling with my graphic design studies at Fanshawe College. Not only I had to learn how to use Corel Draw on the spot, but I also manage to create plate designs for client approvals and ready for production.Back in Brazil, I worked in one of the most prominent local food magazines (Prazeres da Mesa), and between the many skills I developed over there, one was to get used to seeing many delicious foods daily (that's hard!). Even without a degree in the field, I collaborated and developed arts for printed advertisements and advertorials. I was able to do that because I’ve got a self-motivated nature, and I am eager to learn and help my colleagues achieve our goals. I coordinated the designers to maintain design standards aligned with the briefing and oversee the communication from commercial presentations to press releases and social media posts. This almost three-year opportunity only ended because I had this dream of coming to Canada to start this new career as a Graphic Designer. Overall, I believe my secondary education and work experience gave me solid written communication and graphic design skills.
