Handling accounts and operations of Gatkom Kenya. I was able to setup entire accounting and operational infrastructure and also selected and engaged service providers for all operational processes. Created and put into use various reporting formats and procedures.

As the head of finance, I take care of the entire gamut of accounting and finance functions of the company's Indian branch. The responsibilities include accouting, treasury management, admin and some part of HR activities. The company is a branch of a Bahamas based MNC and is one of the leading Ship Designing firms in the world. ISO 9001:2008 certification was received by the company in November 2012.

As Manager - Accounts and Admin, I was handling the accounting and admin functions of the Mumbai office. Some of the achievements were - single handily set up an office of 18000 sq. ft. from scratch to finish, established a accounting system with proper reporting, substantially reduced overheads ( for eg. premium of medical insurance cover by over 60% ), established transport facility for the night shift people and was part of the working committee for the prestigious Morningstar Fund Awards for 2 years.

I joined Conjoin as the 4th employee and was responsible for setting up the accounting and admin procedures in the start-up company. I was handling the finance and admin functions of the company in th early part of the tenure and then moved on to full scale Admin and Procurement function . I was responsible for setting up pay structures, getting all the statutory registrations and setting up new facilities. During this period company grew from 4 people to around 300+.

As Manager - Accounts of DWD Pharmaceuticals ( a medium sized pharma company ) I was responsible for the entire gamut of accounting. The company had branches in 18 different locations spread around India and 3 manufacturing facilities. I was leading a team of 13 people located in 3 different locations. I was responsible for collecting data from the 18 branches and consolidating them at the company's HQ at Nariman Point, Mumbai.

The Company was represnting GN Resound ( Hearing Aid Manufacturers based in Denmark and belonging to the Fortune 500 GN group ) in India. I joined the company when it was a small one and contributed in making it the market leader. Initially I started as Manager Accounts and later was given additional charges of Admin and Market co-ordination.
