Having assessed the risks and mapped the potential market against the required resources, we decided to postpone the project to focus on other ventures.

Reporting to the Regional Director and Pro-Vice Chancellor, my role included development and implementation of a fully integrated international marketing and partnership strategy in South Asia (including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal) and West Africa (Nigeria & Ghana). The role encompassed marketing budget responsibility with significant impact on the International Office’s P&L. One of my main tasks was to identify and manage relationships with channel partners and feeder-routes (regional educational institutions) to facilitate student exchanges and recruitment of full-time students. During my tenure, I expanded our international presence, adding new regions and new markets (e.g., 2nd tier cities/ towns in the primary and secondary markets), which helped double student numbers from South Asia, despite the challenges facing UK Higher Education Institutions with declining revenues from these markets. -
