My primary job is to train soldiers to perform certain military tasks to standard in preparation for the battlefield. As a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Operations Specialist, I am part of the US Army's defense structure to an attack of WMD and train soldiers to be prepared in case of an enemy using any of these uncoventional weapons on the U.S. or our Allies, or in case of a domestic terrorist threat and or attack.

As a Junior in High School, at the age of 17, I enlisted into the Army National Guard of Wisconsin in the field of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) operations. I graduated from Basic Training in the summer of 2002 and returned home to finish High School. Upon recieving my High School diploma, I went to the United States Army Chemical School and graduated in fall of 2003. I was trained in five key areas of NBC: Chem-Bio operations, HAZ-MAT, Tactical Radiation, Decontamination, and Anti-Terrorism. I also received training in the day-to-day operation of an NBC room at the company level which helped prepare me to run an entire NBC section at my National Guard unit.
