During this 3 month period, I was able to exhibit the cross functional collaboration and Excel modeling skills developed at Simon Business School. At Bank of America, I honed my problem solving skills using analysis to streamline processes. • Collaborated with interns across all departments to create an instructional Snapshot video to share best practices on training procedures across the organization.• Executed the transition to a new data storage platform by managing the mass transfer of files and documents; new system enhanced efficiency by streamlining data storage procedures. • Developed and maintained an internal triage system to expedite inquiries to appropriate team members; new system ensured 100% resolution within 48 hours.

This was an exciting opportunity to work on an R&D of Sundram Fasteners who are recognized internationally for Automotive Fasteners. I was part of a 10 person team charged with developing a new line of Aerospace Fasteners. The entire team pitched in to do whatever it took to get the project up and running. We shared responsibilities from procurement of materials, process & product development, vendor management, quality inspection, customer management and logistics & distribution. • Successfully executed the launch of a new Aerospace Fastener project, projected to earn $5MN over the next decade. • Increased quality rating of 80% from GE Aviation, leading to more orders and business expansion.• Decreased inspection and shipment time by ~30% by implementing a new quality inspection system.• Collaborated with GE Aviation to develop a new line of aerospace fasteners, part of Sundram’s plan to enter the aerospace industry.• Recommended to the board to invest $500,000 in the aerospace industry based on evaluation of the feasibility of entering the new market.• Evaluated and contracted vendors for outsourcing production process to ensure quality and on-time-delivery.

This was my first experience in the corporate world. I applied my engineering education and developed my technical and communication skills. • Reduced overall lead times by 20% which lead to short overtime hours. • Managed a group of ten workers, providing guidance on resolving day to day time management. • Focused on gaining experience in the areas of supply chain management and quality control.
