Title : 5620_PSAX_DMDescription: It is a NMS(Network Management System) and EMS(Element Management System) related project. Handled by EM . Which is an intermediate system which connects NM and the Node. Connection between NM and node is created with the use of SNMP descriptor module. The code is written in Smalltalk(oops language).Nodes are managed by EM as per the request from NM. Responsibilities:• Handled FrameRelay-FrameRelay connection creation module Description: It is a cross connection creation between two FrameRelay interfaces in the same node(from EM configuration form) or between two nodes(from NM). NM will send the request to EM and element manager will handle the request to create the connection on the node using descriptor code.• Handled Operation and Maintenance(OAM)system moduleDescription: The OAM feature, available on all PSAX systems gives public service providers a way to detect and receive reports on abnormal behaviour in VPCs and VCCs in an ATM network. OAM performs this function by injecting cells which contain OAM information into the network traffic.
