My life's purpose is to drive change for good in a human centred way.• Unify and lead multi-disciplinary teams towards strategic outcomes.• Design strategy, processes, products, & businesses using Design Thinking.• Build, mentor, and grow design teams.• Co-founded 3 startups(lots of failed experiences to share) and 1 non-profit(still operating). Also, worked for 3 Fortune 500 companies and 1 public sector company.I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, master's degree in UX from National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India and an MBA with a major in Strategy and Business Design from Rotman School of Management - the University of Toronto.A special goal is to communicate the importance of Traditional Artisans in preserving Indian culture. This led me to launch IndusOrigin, a project to bring traditional crafts to an online platform. Since 2013, I have been on the Board of the Sophia Hilton Foundation: Storytelling for Education. During this pandemic, I’m helping Nonprofits with design needs through my platform payitfwd.design.My hope is that these activities provide a deeper context for spreading the word about the importance of Design Thinking.
