I am a qualified professional coach with a qualification in Executive and Corporate Coaching that is extremely helpful in the NED Role as the main job of the Non-Exec director is to ask right question at a right time in a right way to ascertain that the executive directors as well other members of the executive team are doing what they need to do to .I am very passionate and have commitment to continuously improving outcomes.I have done a 3 year Triple Accredited MBA and use various strategies and models of business and management to engage teams and deliver cost-effective plans succinctly and effectively. During my MBA there was 6 months module on finance which gave me a good grounding on understanding corporate finance and I am working with a Non-Exec Director Francis in our Hospital and attend board meetings on aspects of financial performance. Strategy and leadership has been my favourite subject and I help developing mentorship for the non-clinical as well clinical roles in locally, regionally and nationally. During my MBA I had done professional qualification in corporate finance 30 credits, marketing 30 credits and entrepreneurship 15 credits that will help me delivering the NED role in a variety of organisations keen to develop and expand the teams. Throughout my senior medical career, I have developed an expansive portfolio of board and advisory positions in which I have supported the success of a variety of organisations, ranging from innovative SME start-ups through to national associations and institutions. I have achieved this whilst excelling in my consultant paediatrician post, ensuring efficient working, robust compliance and positive patient outcomes at all levels. I have been many board positions to develop the expertise to identify the common challenges and opportunities present to executive teams and the ability to work alongside them and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
