Working as a senior public health consultant to national and international organizations for proposals development, report writing, conducting baseline and evaluation studies. Agencies include DFID, UNICEF, UNDP, European Union, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and National AIDS Control Society. Have successfully completed more than 25 assignments during last four years. Undertaken situational assessment, baseline, midterm and end line evaluation of large-scale community intervention for adolescent health, mental health, Reproductive and Child Health, HIV and AIDS, nutrition, and social protection. Lead CRS Health and HIV and AIDS programming at the national level. Team Leader for the USAID supported Safe Motherhood and Child Survival (SMCS) programme across 13 states working through 40 major partners and 319 field organisation in 3241 villages. which aimed at improving the health of 0.24 million pregnant/lactating women and children aged 0-3 years.Developed and strengthened networking and coordination relationships with government and non-governmental organizations and agencies across India. Provided strategic direction, technical support and leadership to 11 State Offices on Health and HIV and AIDS. Documentation and dissemination of information about best practices, lessons learned in health and HIV and AIDS sector. Contributed to strategy and quality project development, planning, and other activities of the CRS, India Program Quality Team. Facilitated staff and partners in using participatory planning and implementation tools conducting situation assessment. Provided technical support to MNCH- focused programs in Uttar Pradesh (Core Polio Project, Sure Start MNH project) as well as efforts to address vector-borne diseases (specifically malaria and Kala azar) in Bihar and Jharkhand. CRS Point person for the Child centered home and community based care and support project (CHAHA), India HIV and AIDS Alliance under the Global Fund Round-6. Core committee member of CRS, HIV Workplace Policy development and implementation.Coordinator of CRS India HIV and AIDS country strategy development working group. Was instrumental in setting up HIV and AIDS care, support and treatment interventions across five states i.e. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Orissa, Karnataka and Kerala, which involved capacity building of partners on situational assessment, project design, baseline survey, proposal writing, developing indicators and MIS.
