•Technical support to Divisions of Wärtsilä Power plants in failure Investigation, analysis and recommendation for corrective & preventive actions to improve the reliability of Wärtsilä products .•Investigate typical electrical failures, follow-up for failure analysis, prepare field experience reports, co-ordinate with product companies to advise corrective and preventive measures•Development SCADA & PLC Program, Installation and Commissioning of Automation Projects.•Technical support for ABB ,AVK Alternator , leroy somer Alternator related problem for all over India basis.•Technical support given to Thermal Plant up to 160 MW Related AVR (ABB Unitrol F 5000,BHEL), ALTERNATOR, Synchronizing system, DCS, PLC, SCADA etc•Technical support for 220 KV,33KV,11KV,.6.6KV substation system ,SF6 Breaker ,VCB ,ACB Breaker.•Collect and feed-back service experience to product companies for product Improvements. To make competence assessment and recommendations for enhancement of the technical skills for service staff.•Provide internal product training to service staff in cooperation with the assistance of WLSA.•Support Service Projects in understanding the customer needs, designing/developing the suitable project in consultation with customer and preparing a competitive techno-commercial offer for the project.•Assist Service Projects in freezing the technical specifications with customer and assist Field Service and vendors in delivering the project on schedule.•To support guide and aid field service staff in providing customers with solutions, suggest remedial actions, improvement plans and update them with new technology by training and information sharing.
