I have a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, a Btech from IIT Delhi, and multiple patents and honors in my field.I am passionate about creating innovative and customer-centric payment and software solutions that drive value and efficiency for businesses of all sizes and industries, and scaling businesses in a commercially prudent approach to drive revenue and profit. Given my experience at both a high growth PE Fintech and large customer centric financial institution, I am able to bring unique experiences to bear in accelerating embedded finance initiatives across platform SaaS, payments, and general Fintech.Currently, I am the SVP/GM of Emburse Pay and Invoicing Solutions, the fastest growing business unit at Emburse, a leading provider of expense management and AP automation solutions. I am responsible for the product vision, growth strategy, and commercial success of all high-growth Emburse offerings, including Corporate Card Software, AP Automation, Payments, and Data Solutions. Functionally I have Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Partnerships and Operations on my team with full P&L responsibilities. I have led new product launches, exceeded revenue targets, and transformed the business from a start-up to a market leader. Prior to Emburse, I held several senior roles at American Express. I led a "Start-Up" within Amex to lead our Payments efforts including relationships and growth with Fintechs such as Ariba, Coupa, Bill.com, SAP Concur and several software providers. That business grew expnnetially and helped Amex grow B2B Payments at scale. I also led Card Acquisition efforts for Amex acquiring hundreds of thousands of customers at scale through a variety of Digital and Marketing channels through market leading innovations such as Personalized Search and Mobile/Site, and streamlined e-commerce"Single-Click" applications
