www.idrf.org is an India Centric Charity operating in US and provides grants and funding to the marginalized and underprivileged people in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. We are working with nearly 75 NGOs in India across all states and fund projects in heath, education, women empowerment, etc. Last year we collected $5 million in donations so its a smallish organization but with a big potential to grow! One unique feature of IDRF is that it accepts donor directed funding where the donor advises on the NGO, theme and/or location for utilization of funds.
