It was implemented in a short time frame during crisis time when an earlier implementation had issues and we could not make progress with the product development. Implemented the parser using ANTLR with AST generation. Worked on the legacy code base of Db2 embedded SQL. Understood the various modules and helped the team understand the product better. Also documented the architecture of the product. Then lead the team to design and implement the Oracle compatible features to help users migrating from Oracle to Db2. Implemented enhancements for Db2 CLI client optimizer library. This helped for static execution of the dynamic SQLs from the user. Developed interactive demo packages to help users understand the effective usage of client optimizer functionality. Designed and implemented a Graphical Terminal for CLPPlus product. This terminal provided the benefits of both command line window and a GUI to the users. Users could type the commands as in a Command window and the results are presented using Graphical Table widgets in the same window followed by the command prompt. This helped for better presentation of the results and helped users to edit multiline SQL commands easily. Lead the design and development effort for Db2 CLPPlus product. This tool provided compatibility features of Oracle SQL*Plus and is being used by customers migrating from Oracle to Db2. I was there from the inception through the complete life cycle of this product - design, development, testing, internationalization, packaging, documentation and customer support.

This tool enabled easy development and maintenance of large workflows used in the provisioning applications. Designed the algorithm for automatic broadcast video circuit design for Video Circuit Provisioning systems. This enabled automatic path discovery from the source to destination and the cross connects to be established in the optical network elements and the development of detailed work order document for the technicians to complete the manual tasks in the provisioning flow. Designed the stacking rules algorithm for pending order stack. This helped to find quickly whether to accept or deny an order based on the previously accepted pending orders for the related entities. The algorithm was designed generically so that it can be used for all the service order processing systems.
