The Government of Post partnered with Lyra Network to implement the ‘Rural Information and Communication Technology’ project in rural post offices across the country. This project kick-started in 2017. Lyra Network has been providing the Network connectivity, Operations and Maintenance Services since October 2018 to the Post offices. we have successfully completed the GSM Network SIM cards delivery to all locations in 2019. This will enable the modernization of approximately 127,000 post offices.Job Profile: Network & Device hardware related support for RICT project (Rural Information and Communication Technology) for Department of Post. Lyra Network is supplying GSM Network to approximately 440 Divisional Offices (DOs) of Department of Posts spread all over India for further distribution (by Department of Posts) to approximately 1,30,000 Extra Departmental Post Offices• Provide maintenance services for the Rural ICT devices and network connectivity. • Provide connectivity at approx. 130,000 from the local Network Service Provider in the form of 2G, 3G & 4G GPRS in the given order of priority based on availability of services. Migration from one connectivity option to another, if required or in case a better option becomes available in future. • Coordinating with Telco’s and other vendors for Network survey and optimization, services-related issues. • Strategically plan for packaging of goods through logistic pathways and sharing with the client.• Keep track of the effectiveness of strategies and make changes when necessary.• Regular Meetings with vendor, internal & external customers. Sharing the feedback/suggestions/ improvement plan with them to maximize the UPTIME based on the downtime analysis.• Identify areas where improvements can be made in the project.• Managing Inventory related to project and day to day reports.
