Reliance Communications and Global Cloud Xchange, (formerly Reliance Globalcom) was the 2nd largest telecom operator in India during my tenure. It had global ambitions and explored expansion of footprint in US and Europe market in the enterprise segment. Originally hired to oversee the setting up of wireless business in AP Circle and support the CEO towards the effort. Subsequently promoted to the HQ and entrusted with formulating the inorganic M&A-led growth strategy & executing the same. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS► Executed global M&A deals in telecom. Managed M&A on an end to end basis including deal identification and negotiation. ► Oversaw the wireless business at a Circle level from CEO’s office – managed sales, channel expansion and network issues. ► Set up operations and prepared the annual operating plan for the Circle. INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE ► Travelled in USA several times for scouting potential M&A opportunities; doing due diligence; deal negotiations.► Worked from US (San Francisco) for around 1 year.

During my initial tenure, ICICI was a developmental financial institution and, infrastructure was a key focus area. The institution also envisaged the private participation in the infrastructure area. Began career as Management Trainee and left as Manager. Structured financing for infrastructure projects with focus in private financing initiative - handled project finances in transportation, utilities, industrial parks, municipalities, mining & real estate.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS► Led the project structuring & financial closure of India’s first greenfield SEZ.► Substantially assessed financial feasibility of a multi-modal transport corridor project on Private-Public Partnership basis, funded by Asian Development Bank.► Independently structured a Water Project on a Build Operate transfer (BOT) model – managed the global bidding process - drafted multiple contracts and concession agreements for the project.► Managed bidding process for the disinvestment of Government’ stake in a heritage hotel.► Worked with major Central Government and State government agencies.
