Rajib Kumar is an educator, consultant, fraternity and social activist. He is Director, Knowgen Education Services Pvt Ltd. Earlier he was Principal Consultant of “Material World”, a consulting & training service he co-founded in 2000.Rajib is a Fellow in Management from the Center for Research in Materials Management. He has postgraduate degrees in General Management as well as Materials Management. Rajib also has Bachelor credits in liberal arts including Psychology from one of the leading institutions of Ohio, United States. His research interests include Supply Chain, Human Resources and Social Issues. Rajib is on the faculty panel of several leading management institutes. He is regularly invited to assess “finishing school skills” and interviewee skills of graduating students of Engineering colleges & B Schools. He has trained executives of MNCs and Indian companies across industry verticals as well as the Public Sector. His trainees include NGO workers, social activists, doctors, shop-floor workers, physiotherapists, psychologists, counselors and beauticians. He has published large number of papers and articles and serves on edit teams of voluntary and commercial publication efforts. He has earned considerable repute in the online knowledge sharing space in recent years. Rajib is involved in multiple community and fraternity activities. He served as Hon., Jt Secretary, National HRD Network, Kolkata from 2008 to 2012, then Hon. Secretary (Administration & Coordination) of NHRDN, Kolkata from 2012 to 2014 championing award winning initiatives including social media connect, publications and B School collaboration. He was Vice President of the Kolkata Chapter. He is Chairman, Seminar Committee, Indian Institute of Materials Management Kolkata.Rajib has been on the organizing committee of national conferences of ISTD & NHRDN. He has been a Member on the Managing Committee of Gurap Sital Kumar Balika Vidyalaya H.S., Gurap, WB. He is Founder-President of Mina Kumar Charitable Society, not for profit organization which seeks to elevate living standards of underprivileged women and children.
