Develop and enhance existing automated test procedures for comprehensive testing of TDMA cell phones based on the IS-136 standard. Work included development of object-oriented instrument driver framework of all required equipment (power supply, spectrum analyzer, TDMA call box, etc) to allow for future replacement of individual instruments without the need to re-write test cases. Reduced final factory test time from ~120 seconds per device to <100 seconds per device improving production on existing manufacturing lines.
