Engineering Manager heading componens section in the Engineeering Design Centre , India• Responsible for execution of projects across the globe with relation to Hydraulics, Electrical systems and Work tools applications ( buckets, grapples and Hammers etc.,) and deliver the projects according to the gateway processes.• Develop strong relationship with the process partners by satisfying their immediate and long term requirement and make sure that EDCI is the first source for their requirement.• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the smart goals of the Components section by managing the resources including the Team Leaders, FTE and Agency onsite and offsite.• Responsible for developing the technical knowledge within the section about the products, NPI process, Quality and cost reduction methodologies using the 6 sigma approach and highlighting the same to Process Partners thereby generating more core work for the section.• Responsible for the growth of the section in terms of business hours as well as core hours in the near and long term.• Develop career plans for the resources directly and through the team leaders and make sure that succession planning is taken care well as appropriate.• Develop a very good Peer relationship with other Managers in order to have cross functioning and good environment within EDCI.• Develop an inclusive culture within the section in order to have sustainable growth within section and in turn EDCI.• Develop Long term strategy for the section in terms of growth as well as employing and retaining the resource pool within the section.• Develop a smooth working culture within the section and aligning with EDCI requirements.
