CurrentDuties:----• Regulate providers delivering VET qualifications and courses to students in Australia.• Regulate providers based in Australia delivering VET courses to overseas students. • Regulate providers delivering English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS).• Make decisions to accredit VET courses to make sure nationally approved standards are met, based on established industry enterprise, education, legislative or community need.• Conduct and… Show more Duties:----• Regulate providers delivering VET qualifications and courses to students in Australia.• Regulate providers based in Australia delivering VET courses to overseas students. • Regulate providers delivering English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS).• Make decisions to accredit VET courses to make sure nationally approved standards are met, based on established industry enterprise, education, legislative or community need.• Conduct and report on quality audits or assessments and provide advice on compliance with standards.• Interpret, apply, and make assessments and recommendations based on policy, legislation and/or regulatory standards.• Conduct research and data analysis, to support evidence-based decision making.• Represent ASQA through day-to-day engagement to deliver effective regulatory outcomes.• Prepare project plans, evidence-based briefings and drafts of reports and stakeholder engagement.• Coach and mentor other staff in the team.• Manage and undertake internal reviews of regulatory decisions.• Assist the legal officers with applications seeking merits review of the Internal Review decisions before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (“AAT”).Areas of Expertise:-------------------• Possess a well-developed understanding of best practice regulation, performance and compliance monitoring with ASQA under Commonwealth of Australia.• Have strong analytical thinking skills including the capacity to identify high quality evidence, and to evaluate options, benefits, and risks.• Possess a high level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills, including the ability to deliver high quality outcomes on time.• Always perform the evaluation following a risk-based approach.• I work collaboratively or independently, showing confidence, initiative, and drive.• I have developed high level of oral and written communication skills.• Always adhere to Australian Public Service (APS) code of conduct and ethics.
