▪ Providing technical inputs & engineering support to the team from conception to completion of project.▪ Provide Drawing Layouts and Single Line for electrical installations in HV & LV panels, street and landscape lightings on infrastructures and large residential developments in compliance with the local and international regulations▪ Providing Power system studies (Short circuit, Load Flow and motor starting, reactor sizing, surge arrestor sizing, OC/EF protection, switching overvoltages, lightning strike study).▪ Providing Technical presentations addressing the design/system study related issues and recommendations ▪ Performing equipment sizing studies (Transformer, cable, Switchgear & capacitor bank etc.).▪ Manage all design calculations like voltage drop & Cable Sizing(HV & LV), CT & VT adequacy, Earthing ,Lightning , Neutral Earthing Resistor (NER) Sizing ▪ Attend technical meetings with the Clients/Main consultants/Vendors and provide technical advisory engineering solutions ▪ Co-ordinates for with other departments for all project stages including conceptual design, preliminary design, detail design and approval.▪ Maintaining records and archives to company standards.▪ Conducts sites visits and assessment, as required to execute design work.▪ Preparing FEED documents and drawings as per specification and requirements.▪ Preparing the load schedules(MDB/SMDB/DB) & cable schedule, AC / DC auxiliary load calculations ▪ Preparation of Sag and Tensions calculations for 11kV overhead lines▪ Preparation of Power and control panel layout design ▪ Conversant with IEC, IEEE, BS, NEC & NFPA standards.▪ Site survey, supervision, drawing’s checking’s and As-built drawings▪ Reviewing and checking of SLD, Control Schematics and Design calculations▪ Reviewing and checking of Conduit/Cable Tray and Cable Trench Routing Plans▪ Review of lightning and earthing protection layouts & BOQ by contractors

▪ In charge of controlling, managing, supervising, testing and commissioning of cable pulling, earthing, aviation warning lights, cathodic protection and electrical preservation of motors, switchgears, transformers and other electrical equipment▪ Responsible for high voltage cable jointing and repair, insulation resistance measurement (meggering) of cables and switchgears, high pot testing, measurement and continuity check of earth system's resistance, meggering of motor windings and energizing motor space heaters▪ Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.▪ Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications▪ Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.▪ Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.▪ Supervise and train project team members as necessary
