As a software tester, I am responsible for testing the development of new features and additions to the existing services. Experience, skills and knowledge gained through this job includes;• Using GitHub, and Git in general to carry on with software related issues and development.• Regression testing new releases before deployment into production environment to end users• Progressive testing new features and projects• Attention to detailed information. • Working with AWS to spin up different instances for specific testing of new developments and features. Responsible for managing 30+ accounts with 500+ assets for location-based Telemetry service and greater operations of Anstel in Fiji looking into the Technical, finance, outsourcing installation, planning and project budgeting. Also worked as field engineer for all telecommunication related jobs that was awarded to the company. My dynamic role at a glance;• Telecommunication.-Preparing new business proposal for telecommunications industry in Fiji and presenting to clients. -Successfully carried out the benchmark testing for mobile service provider company-Effectively carried out Radio Frequency Interference for Digicel and Vodafone. This greatly assisted Telecommunication Authority of Fiji (TAF) to remove the illegally imported devices. • Vehicle Tracking & Location Based Services- Testing the vehicle tracking device to ensure that all alarms are working correctly.-Started with around 20 device and I successfully managed till 500+ active devices- Device configuration for installation into vehicles and activation on the web based portal.- Testing the web based application to ensure that all data from the device is received correctly including timestamp and alarms.- Presentation to prospective customers on vehicle tracking and location based service.- Looking for new business opportunities in Fiji for vehicle tracking and location based services.• Customized Software Solution- Visiting existing customers who are using our custom made software in daily business needs, getting feedback and reporting to developers of their needs or of any malfunctions in the software.- Finding solutions to and giving new ideas to suit customer needs.• Administration- Maintaining all records of daily expenses. Advising customer accordingly for the best solutions to the problem. - Implementation and hardware configuration of equipment already installed at site.( eg. AISG Devices), configuration of sites hardware expansion (upgrading of network resource cards such as BPC and BPK) and preparing hardware scripts for new sites.- Preparing new site scripts and modifying existing ones after site uprade.- Periodically doing site capacity audit to check the current Network capacity based on the hardware (eg. BPC cards, BPK cards, calculating channel elements, GSM Radio Capacity etc) - Using computer aided software to analyze voice quality, interference, signal quality and signal strength in 2G and 3G Networks.- Optimization of network; such as calculating and implementing best electronic tilts for the antennas, based on the customer feedback and network requirement.- Using Nemo Test tool such as Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Analyze, Nemo Playback to analyse overall network performance and carry out drive trials. Also used Nemo Handy to attend customer complaints.- Creating BTS file for Nemo products that enable the location of all nodeBs and eNodeBs in the map.- Creating KML file mark locations of all current and active BTS on Google Earth. - Analyzing customer CDR for dropped call analysis.- Assisting Retail Sales, Corporate Sales and Customer Care teams with network and coverage issues.- Working along with other support teams such as RBS to assist during new site installation. - Assisting the Transmission Team when required.- Working with other teams to complete projects.

After completing my studies and not finding a full time job, I got engaged in some self employed jobs. This was mostly installing and troubleshooting of car audio and security systems. The organization is basically operation service provider business for CB radios being used by Taxis, emergency departments, Police and other smaller business. As part of my job, i used to install the CB Radio units in the vehicles and also at our customer premises allowing half duplex communication to take place. Majority equipment installed were used a under a licensed frequency from TAF and we also did the programing to ensure the devices worked on the required frequency.Apart from the above mentioned, I was actively involved in the repair of the faulty equipment and troubleshooting of the circuits.This gave me a good exposure to CB communication and also a good starter to step up in RF world.

As start of my career, learning customer interaction had been a big advantage to me. Joined in Fiji Television Limited as Customer Service Representative and was exposed to world of customer service and call center life. For First few weeks I learned the basic skills required to communicated with a customer over the phone and help them with all their problems. Later I was with the technical team doing the installation of the Sky Pacific equipment at customer premises and also attending to customer faults and dealing with customers Face-TO-Face. To all my nice and wonderful customer interaction skills I posses today, I would always thank Fiji Television Limited for providing me an opportunity to work in an service provider organization and learn the basics of customer care and on site technical support.

You are always best with something that you have interest in and for me installation of Car Audio equipment had always been fun and exciting. Starting from a very young age and learning the DC voltages and car electrical and electronics, I started working on my own to get in few extra dollars for the pocket expense. With many years of installation experience, I continue to do installation of all car audio equipment including Media receivers, Amplifiers, Speakers, Subs, cross-overs, equalizers and all other. My installation works are not just limited to Audio, I also do wiring for after market accessories like lighting equipment and horns etc, alarms and other electrical accessories. Some of my favourite brands to work with; Alpine and Pioneer.
