During my internship at Ignite Solutions, I contributed to several key projects by configuring, deploying, and improving the infrastructure of web applications.For an internal candidate hiring project, I configured and set up a Django web application on a local machine. I then configured an Apache web server on an EC2 instance to implement a reverse proxy for the Django application. Additionally, I created a service for the application and containerized it using Docker, enabling deployment on various AWS compute services. I also deployed a React frontend application for the same project on an EC2 instance, configuring it with the Apache web server to implement a reverse proxy.In another project, I worked on the deployment of an internal onboarding application. I was tasked with deploying a monolith project on the AWS Lambda service. To achieve this, I containerized the application using Docker, pushed the image to AWS ECR, and utilized the Zappa utility to deploy the project on AWS Lambda with integration to API Gateway, while hosting the database on Amazon RDS.I also played a significant role in a Generative AI project by advocating for and implementing a Blue/Green Deployment strategy for the frontend application. I designed an architecture for the deployment, which reduced deployment time from several minutes to a few seconds, significantly enhancing the user experience.Throughout my internship, I successfully deployed multiple web applications, improved deployment efficiency, and ensured robust and scalable infrastructure on AWS. My work reduced deployment times and minimized downtime, leading to a better user experience and more streamlined deployment processes.
