I combine my technology and management experience in the IT services industry along with entrepreneurial experience to help my customers convert big business ideas into actionable business and technical solutions. I am an Ex-CEO cum all roles of a failed street side business venture during my college days, moved on to set up a food business and an electrical goods trading venture before settling for a corporate job in the IT industry. I am skilled in Product management from ideation to go to market, Program management, project management, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Team management, Lean startup methodology, design thinking, and Business Model Canvas. During my stint in the IT industry with one of the largest and the most entrepreneurial of IT services companies, I worked for different clients in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia in a combination of roles as solution architect to project and program management. I set up probably India’s first Smart Grid lab during this period while also setting up the Centre of Excellence for a software product – IBM Maximo. As the second employee of the E&U practice, I led pre-sales and solutions while also carrying the P&L responsibilities. We won a USD 135 million project to firmly establish the business unit and won over 15 customers in 3 years. Later as delivery head and then the CTO of another IT services company, carried the responsibility of overseeing the HR function also. Was part of the team that turned around the company from a loss-making unit to EBITDA-positive within 3 years.The domains worked during the career spanned Supply chain, Capital markets, banking, mining, sports, Energy utilities, Smart grid, retail and eCommerce, aggregation platformsMoved on to set up an IT services company - Cintana Technologies and moved on to start the consultancy specializing in helping start-ups and corporations with Digital road maps, architecture solutions, and Product strategy, architecture, and road map. During this period we successfully delivered multiple products for clients in the USA and India supporting them from Ideation to go to market. The largest of the products during this time were 1M+ USD products in the EdTech and e-commerce space.For startups, I also provide training, workshops, and consultancy getting their product journey right using the business canvas model and design thinking tools. I am part of the advisory board of some of them.In my free time, I like to read a bit, go trekking, spend time with my kids on board games, or be part of adda with friends.
