Major Responsibilities: Managed Semi-monthly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes to 10,000 employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.• Managed payroll in ADP payroll software • Supervised payroll staff, including payroll supervisor and payroll specialists • Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely • Critically review, analyze and tax research for current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations and new tax rate and changes• Partner with HR and benefits in aligning and implementing a more sophisticated payroll and benefits system • Handle employee’s tax queries, escalation, ensure W2s issued correctly and timely, guide team how to correct W2’s taxes in ADP payroll• Ensure ADP files taxes timely and coordinate federal, state and local notices, • Analyze amendments to make sure tax refund received/any tax credit adjustment done• Handle all tax notices and tax compliances• Handle 401K audit, DOL audit, compliance audit, coordinate legal team any employee’s legal dispute
