• Tendering from receipt of indent from projects to approval including contractor selection, contractor prequalification, preparation of tender documents, tender floating, pre bid meeting, preparation of comparative statement, tender analysis, technical negotiation, commercial negotiation, processing for approval, preparation and issuance of LOA.• Assessment of variations, escalations and issuance of amendment.• Procurement of material ensuring best value through exploring different purchasing options.• Acting as a key point of contact to contractor and vendor for managing claims and contract renewal.• To keep abreast of new legislation, government policy, best practice and relevant external factors relevant to procurement and contracting activity.• To establish and develop a strong working relationship with contractors and suppliers to ensure that the quality of service is consistently managed and challenged to meet agreed service level agreement.• Monitoring of contract performance and compliance in accordance with the contract and organizational policy & procedure.• Monitoring disputes, legal issues and claims with the suppliers and vendors.• Preparation of contract variations statement in accordance with the terms of the contract and issuing amendment of contract to contractor. • Supporting documentation for arbitration proceedings as required by the counsel. • Correspondence with Engineer/Employer on day-to-day issues. Verification & Certification of Running and Final bills with specific reference to Standard measurement quantities, specification and carry out periodical site measurements. Ensuring that all attachments/ documents received for bill verification have been obtained from vendors including timely extensions of B.G.s and insurance & compliance of statutory regulations. Scrutinizing certified Contractor Bills for the projects and monitoring the team of QS/ Billing engineers.

• Preparation of Bill of quantities, Estimation of Civil, rate analysis of various items and handling subcontractor billings, site measurement etc.• Ensuring the works contracts and contractual Clauses related to quality or quantities of works to be followed properly.• Ensuring overall construction is executed in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings, codes and standards and to the requirements of the Contract. • Certification of monthly and final PRW and subcontractor billings.• Review the provision towards quality assurance and carry out quality control tests as specified in technical specification during construction period.• Ensure that the construction work is accomplished in accordance with the technical specifications.• Identify Construction delays and recommend to the concessionaire the remedial measures to expedite the progress.• Review the safety measures provided for the traffic and project workers and suggest the concessionaire for implementation in case of any deficiency.• Monitor the work done by the subordinates on a daily basis and guide for smooth working as per contractual clauses, as per specifications and as per plan and profile.• Liaison with client, auditor, planning, account department to sort out any issues related to commercial activity.Project Undertaken:1 DLF Towers, Jasola, New Delhi INR 380 Cr, multistory building project with three basements plus 12 storied structures. 2 DLF Town Square Mall, Noida INR 700 Cr, multistory building project with three basements plus 5 storied structures.
