Rakesh is Senior Partner of Adler Shine, Chartered Accountants, and heads up its Transaction Services team. He has worked on more than 40 public company transactions including admissions on AIM, Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and Aquis He has considerable experience of advising on mergers and acquisitions, private placings, stock exchange listings and corporate restructuring.His experience in this area of expertise has been recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants granting Rakesh the Corporate Finance qualification.Rakesh spent some time in industry as Group Financial Controller of Ryman, Contessa and La Senza having assisted in its acquisition.He has sat on the Boards of both public and private companies bringing commercial and financial experience to these companies.Rakesh advises family companies on their succession issues, restructuring, inheritance tax and asset protection. Rakesh was a former trustee of The Sebastian Coe Charitable Foundation, set up by Lord Coe to support individuals with sporting talent. He is also a director of the trading subsidiary of BAPS (a socio-religious Charity), generating funds from trading activities which it donates entirely to the Charity. He is keen to assist other charities where he has an interest on a pro bono basis.Rakesh enjoys playing golf, watching Spurs 🤔, wining and dining!

We act for sole traders to ultra high net worth individuals and small private companies to public companies. We have clients across diverse sectors including technology, sports and media, music and entertainment, property development and investment, banking, finance, mining, natural resources, bio therapeutics, pharmaceutical distribution, hotels, healthcare, ..........
