With every new step we take forward the responsibility keeps on adding, my new responsibility now included assisting fellow analysts and providing them with expert advice on GIS Technologies of my field of expertise which involved workflows, resolutions, etc. My expertise now included Core ArcGIS Desktop, ESRI Business Analyst Desktop, Business Analyst Online, ArcPad and extensions including ArcPad, Network Analyst, Geocoding, Linear Referencing, Data Interoperability, OLEDB & ODBC Connections, etc.

The role changed slightly with being an Analyst, GIS and started mentoring the new guys in the team. Some of my additional responsibilities included assisting the fellow analysts with their queries and also to learn new GIS technologies, since GIS goes beyond any limits.

As an Associate Analyst, my major task was to assist the customers on their questions about ArcGIS Technology. The responsibility was to handle customers facing technical problems and provide them with an apt resolution at the earliest. At the same time started learning other technologies such as Business Analyst Desktop, Business Analyst Online and ArcPad.

After getting confirmed fit to go live with the clients, started assisting the clients with their issues on ArcGIS Desktop technology.

As a project trainee, I was being trained on the various applications and technologies of GIS and at the same time assisted the on floor analysts with their testing. As my internship project worked on ‘Image Resampling’.
