- Acted as a key member of ESM’s management team.- Devised, established and managed the robust and scalable legal frameworks at the ESM and EFSF.- Built and directed a high performing team of 20 legal professionals and managed an annual budget of some million euro. - Project management with regard to, inter alia, (i) the transfer of staff from EFSF to ESM and new employment relations, health insurance and pensions, (ii) establishment of ESM’s administrative tribunal (Drafting Statute, appointing judges, drafting the Rules of Procedure) (iii) development of standardized collective action clauses in all new euro area government securities (iv) arrangements to increase the capacity of EFSF and (v) Board member (Director) of the European Sovereign Bond Investment Facility (ESBIF).

- Acted as Senior Legal Counsel of the Legal Department at HSBC Security Services. - Provided legal advice and expertise on a variety of financial issues with a focus on banking and capital markets, securities services, fund administration and allocation, custody, credit and funding documentation and other related areas as well as advising on corporate law.- Provided regular reports and updates on regulatory and legal developments that were relevant to the business.- Drafted, reviewed and participated in the negotiation of all documentation relating to the establishment and continued maintenance of HSBC’s investment funds. - Advised other HSBC Group offices on enquiries relating to Luxembourg legal, regulatory and business issues. - Managed compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and legal and other potential risks for HSBC. - Supported the Head of Legal in the management of the legal team and the supervision of the legal team’s work.
