At Cambridge Associates, I worked in a financial services consulting capacity with a focus in operations and broad portfolio analysis aimed at evaluating key variables to facilitate effective portfolio management. Much of my work included:- Business consulting with a focus in portfolio management and operations- Client portfolio consisted of public and private investment firms- Data management, including extracting, compiling, analyzing, and formatting data into a proprietary database- Project lead on various process improvements to contribute more effective data management for both internal and external stakeholders; my work includes tracking, scheduling, and reporting- Member of internal development teams tasked with enhancing and automating internal processes for more efficient workflow

At RPC I operated in a project management capacity through a government consultant. My work included extensive operation in client-facing consulting, project management, research, data development and management, and account management. The work I completed at RPC was done through team, independent, and supervised by higher employees. Some example functions include:- Lead project manager on multiple large, complex projects for clients. Work includes tracking, scheduling, budget management, and reporting- Collaborate on the advancement of policies, programs, and plans that align with federal, state, local, and organizational objectives as well as existing regulatory controls- Data administration, including collecting, compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing data from varying sources; Research different areas of focus under agency purview- Develop research reports; memos; summaries of federal, state, regulatory, and policy for organization; federal and state required documents; and data releases- Extensive work in policy development and advisement related to land use, environmental, and sustainability. Authored a successful grant application and secured $300,000 in funding for a corridor study- Consulting: 1+ year of progressively responsible experience with federal, state, and local entities on projects relating to land use, transportation, hazard mitigation, electric vehicles, policy, and energy.With the RPC, example projects include:- Lead project manager on the Winnebago County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan (2019) (see link)- Successfully secured an IDOT State Planning & Research (SPR) grant (valued at approx. $300,000) to fund a corridor study (development, application, project management) (2020)- Assisting with Electric Vehicle Readiness Framework Plan (2020)- Assisting with the development on the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (2020)

At Uptown Greenville I worked within the following areas:- Created a database including viable venues for downtown events and available parking space in Downtown Greenville- Developed maps showing announced, in-progress, and completed private developments- Built mock-up of revitalized parking lot utilizing Adobe Photoshop- Coordinated with downtown businesses on event sponsorship, participation, and attendance for 25,000+ person annual event- Assisted with identifying and developing grants to fund Uptown Greenville initiatives

My position was funded through a competitive fellowship with the State Employees Credit Union Public Service Fellows Internship [SECU PSF] program. The program selected 24 fellows through a competitive process open to all ECU students. The program offered me the opportunity to work as an Project and Education Intern with a community organization in an underserved area. As an intern, some of my key accomplishments include:- coordinating with non-profits and other organizations;- operating in the field, directly customers and other staff to accomplish organizational goals;- general laboring as needed;- worked on outreach programs that focused on underserved communities; and- developing summer camp activities and programs.The SECU-PSF enabled me to move beyond my previous experiential boundaries and explore new ways of working with communities.
