I worked with Accrue's leadership to help translate the brand values into Design Principles. The Design System I produced followed these principles and included core tokens, components, UX patterns, and content guidelines. The proximity with Engineering during the process facilitated the production of deliverables highly optimized for the team. This modular way of thinking increased the quality and speed of development. In addition, design decisions became much easier because the team counted on a shared language and way of thinking about the user experience.
