My name is Ralph Ferrigno, and I have a (BS) Environmental Science degree from UMASS Amherst which I received in May 2021. I began working as an Environmental Technician at OHI Engineering in March 2022 where I have numerous responsibilities. I help conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, both the field work and report writing, assist in writing Immediate Response Action Plans, create figures and site maps for projects, and lead drilling contractors for monitoring well placement and analyzing soil cores. In my time at OHI Engineering, I've learned to develop monitoring wells, take both groundwater and soil samples, how to use a photoionization detector in the field, and received my OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
