Design and develop code for pv2way team projects, including video telephony terminals and gateways; designed and implemented an ASN.1 parser/compiler and the H.245 stack used in PV's 3G-324m interoperability test tool, 3G-324m video telephony terminal software, H.323-to-3G324m Gateway, and "streaming" gateway.Lead pvSIP team, which developed a prototype SIP stack and two SIP application demos.Attend and follow emerging multimedia standards (WMF, 3GPP-SA4, OMA), make technical contributions, track and evaluate new features and present analysis to management, develop and track feature requirements in DOORS.Interoperability testing for PVTerminal (3G-324m video telephony software) and PVPlayer (streaming media player) products, including participation and leadership in several interoperability test forums, and documenting our interoperability test efforts and standards compliance for customers.Investigate and track new multimedia technologies and features; develop presentations to facilitate technology roadmap decisions.

IMTC PSS-AG provides interoperability testing for multimedia streaming technologies such as 3GPP Packet-Switched Streaming Services (PSS), Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), and MPEG DASH. At its peak, 26 companies participated in the testing.Chair responsibilities include: arrange and run bi-weekly conference calls, organize interoperability test events, author test specifications, design the group working process, and create/maintain a test management and results tracking system.Typically 3-4 interoperability test events per year, including SuperOp! (IMTC flagship event)Participated in IMTC PSS-AG from 2001-2010, testing PV’s media player products.

This program provides self-certification for products based on the AVC/H.264 video codec. Chair Responsibilities: Lead Logo Committee calls, lead detail design of the certification process, author specifications, work with web developer to create Logo Qualification website, define certification bitstreams, review and approve vendor applications
