Ralph Simon began his career in Financial Services in 1991, after completing 10 years in the Restaurant Services industry, which left him craving a professional career with an emphasis on detail. Ralph started his Financial Services career with AAL, where he served as a Registered Representative for 12 years until it became Thrivent. From there, Ralph joined a number of his colleagues that moved to New York Life, where he was then recruited by MetLife to become the Institutional Case Manager for the then-new Concordia Plans Services 403B Plan. By this time, he had achieved four securities licenses and been invited to attend six Million Dollar Round Table conferences with his fellow colleagues, also in the top 10% of production and client retention in Financial Services. In 2014, Ralph was hired to serve as Vice President for Investment Services for the LCMS Foundation where he leads Endowment and Investment Management that ultimately provides financial resources to the Lutheran Church, increasing its ability to share the Gospel. In this position, he travels the country meeting with endowment and scholarship committees, as well as congregations and schools. Thinking about funding for ministry needs tomorrow, Ralph’s mission is to determine the best way to invest for building resources for the next generation.
