Placed Head Operators in each of the 6 control rooms to improve execution; and, created Operations Assistant positions in each area focusing on process and operating improvements. Responsible for safe and effective startups of new strategic chemical products: 247ZX; 10400X; and 10600.  Successfully negotiated the contract renewal with the USW in 2015 as the operations representative. Managing-Safe-Work Sponsor for the site. Conformed the Oak Point procedures and practices with Chevron Refining Safe Work Practices standards to improve the Work Permitting process. Global Process Owner for manufacturing software systems for Oronite with the responsibility for sustaining, improving, and innovating computer applications used by the Manufacturing function globally. Capital Project Sponsor Supreme Certified. Decision Executive for critical capital projects for operations; such as the implementation of a new environmental unit which significantly reduced H2S (hydrogen sulfide) alarm activations at the site.

Asset Effectiveness/Reliability advisor – Titanium Technologies Plant Jan 1997 – May 1999DuPont Mexico Altamira, MEXICOExpatriate advisory assignment to improve the reliability and availability of the titanium dioxide plant in Altamira, Mexico. Led the plant initiative to implement planning, scheduling, prioritization, analytics, and execution systems to build organizational capability for continual improvement in asset reliability.  This effort improved the Altamira plant availability from the worst performing site (~70%) to the best performing site (>90%) globally; performance that the plant has now sustained for 20 years.  Received recognition from the site; an Award of Excellence from Dupont of Mexico; and, a DuPont Corporate Engineering Excellence award for these achievements.
