Ralph is International Managing Partner of AXON Communications, London, and its holding company AVENIR GLOBAL, headquartered in Montreal. He brings 30 years’ experience of working with clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and food industries, helping them shape powerful messages that connect with and engage their audiences. In addition to his responsibilities with the network of offices across the UK, US, Canada, Denmark and Switzerland, Ralph advises clients on a wide range of communications challenges. He specialises in shaping research and insights-driven strategy, developing narratives and communications plans that ultimately shape behaviours and drive business results, whether this be in support of brands or managing complex issues. Working with all of our offices means he is able to assemble teams from across our network with the diverse expertise that clients need.Over the years he has worked with many major corporations on their most important brands. Recent clients have included a variety of large and small pharmaceutical firms operating in a range of therapeutic areas as well as an industry coalition focused around sustainable protein production.Prior to joining AXON, Ralph was with the international public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, for 15 years, most recently as Managing Director of the European Healthcare Practice for nearly 5 years. In this capacity he built one of the largest pharmaceutical practices in Europe. Between 1992 and 1998 Ralph was based in Australia and for the last 3 years was Managing Director of the Sydney office..  Ralph is a native of Ireland but also enjoys dual citizenship of Australia. He has a degree in modern history and classical Greek from Trinity College, Dublin and a post-graduate diploma in law.  He is married with two daughters. Specialties: Communications strategy, brand positioning and narrative, issues preparedness, pharmaceutical communications, sustainability communications
