As a long-time lawyer and litigator, I practice in the areas of civil litigation, health care and antitrust, where I represent business of all sizes.Health CareAs chair of the health care practice, I represent providers, including doctors, pharmacists, drug distributors and repackagers, before numerous federal and state regulatory bodies, Medicaid and other third-party payor audits, Medicaid fraud investigations, and administrative hearings. In the area of patient privacy, I recently advised a “prior authorization” service provider to pharmacies on HIPAA and patient confidentiality issues, including policies and procedures needed. I have also provided antitrust advice, including advice on HSR issues, to companies involved in cross-border acquisitions.
