Provides approved separation between aircraft operating at Butts Army Airfield (BAAF) Controlled aircraft on runways and movement areas, helipads/rotor wing landing areas and is responsible for sequencing, spacing, and issuing clearance and control instructions to aircraft operating in Class D airspace. Controls aircraft movement by use of radar, radio, and telephone within Class D airspace, restricted area and at Pinion Canyon Maneuver site; vectors departures from the airfield as required; and issues departure instructions to aircraft operating under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) so that aircraft will enter civil airways at the time, position, and altitude assigned by FAA Air Traffic Facilities. Receives, posts, and relays flight data information; relaying IFR/VFR/SVFR departures and arrival times via direct lines to base operations. Provides separation between aircraft and between aircraft and radio equipped vehicles operating on the movement areas and receives, posts, and relays airspace management information which affects the Fort Carson Training Area/Restricted Area 2601.

Provided flight following support for Kuwait and Southern Iraq, utilizing procedural control functions. Watch Supervisor for Airspace Information Center facility in Northern Kuwait supporting Armed forces. Duties include: Traning incoming personal, in charge of a 2 person shift, Provide ATC services to VFR helicopters in the Kuwait AOR, Logging flight times and airspace management, issuing NOTAMS for airspace sectional closure, ensuring operation normal- if needed deploy Search and Rescue or Activate Crash Alarm System for aircraft in distress.

Duties in Helicopter Flight Following consist of logging time for 2 A-STAR, 2 B212 helicopters, and 3 USCG HH-60 helicopters. Ensuring operations were normal, and if needed deploy (SAR) Search and Rescue. Secondary Mac Center duties also, as an Assistant En-route Approach consists of: Updating the daily aircraft movement text, Airfield Status Report and Daily Logs. Broadcasting aircraft movement over the I-Net to the respected Station, and assisting the En-route Approach Controller as needed.
