I am 1973 BE from NIT, Bhopal , retired on 31/01/2016 after serving in Top Management Position since 2003 in power/ infra sector heading Ultra Mega/Mega/Multi projects with accountability and expertise of General Management, Business Development, Engineering , Construction, Consultancy, Contract and Commercial complemented by over 40years of experience in PSU & private in construction projects of approx 12000 MW . • Started career in 1974 with SAIL and worked at Bokaro/Vizag projects before switching over to NTPC in 1980. • Had been General Manager and Business Unit Head (BHU) from 2003 to 07 in NTPC, a world class power utility where I served from June 1980 to Oct 2007 in thermal, hydro & mining projects • After resigning from NTPC in Nov 2007, I served as Executive Director in Energy Infratech Pvt Ltd and was Head of 6X200MW Teesta III Hydro construction up to mid July 08. • Joined RelianceADA in July 2008 & was head of 4000MWSasan and 4000MW Chitrangi Power Projects as Chief Project Director. Already commissioned 6 Super Critical Units of 660 MW of Sasan in record time of 21 months. • Was on Board of Sasan Power Ltd as Director. • Also contributed in construction of 4X300 MW Rosa Power project of Reliance in UP during critical commissioning period of 2009-10 • Had been associated with 9 green-field projects in 8 states.. • Also done 40 KM of tunnelling, 300Km of roads including hill roads, 250 KM of railways, 20KM waterway equivalent of major & minor road & rail bridges, 3 project townships etc...• Empanelled Arbitrator by Indian Council Of ArbitrationMy goal is to accept challenge and infuse collective synergy & creativity as well as to provide strategic leadership/ guidance towards value-added performance and project delivery.
