Review & approval of Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Control Plan, Inspection & Test Plan, Method Statements, Submittals related to quality etc. Monitoring of samples being taken in the field & testing activities to assure that tests are properly carried out. Review of sources of various materials (like rock bolts, steel reinforcement, concrete ingredients) & concrete mix designs. Review of material testing results to ensure compliance with the project specifications. Issuance of NCR if product/material does not satisfy the project quality parameters. Review and acceptance/rejection of corrective action plan proposed by contractor. Prepare daily reports of site inspections, recording the activities observed, materials used & quality control tests witnessed besides periodic checks for the calibration of plants & laboratory equipment. Document & track all test results, QA/QC non-conformance reports & corrective actions until project closure. Guidance to site team for implementation of QA/QC procedures. Establishing procedures for monitoring quality, performing quality compliance checks and quality audits. Monitoring records demonstrating that the contractor has complied with the requirements of contract & that the contractor’s quality control measures & inspections are effective. Special concrete mix design (with Cement, GGBS, Micro silica & steel fibres) for precast segments for 100 years of service life under adverse conditions. Mix Design for shotcrete & backfill grouting. Assist Senior Resident Engineer on the quality related matters.

Review & approval of Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Control Plan including Segment Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan, Method Statements etc.Review & approval of sources of all the materials of natural origin & manufactured items.Review & approval of Concrete mix designs of various grades up to M60 with extensive use of Fly-ash & Micro-Silica to ensure better durability.
