I am a dedicated professional with a robust background in Sustainability Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Engineering. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Environment Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and dedicated 2 years MBA in Sustainability Management from IIM Mumbai, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to drive impactful sustainability initiatives.Over the past five years, I have gained extensive experience working in both the corporate sector and on the field in manufacturing plants. My career journey began as a Fifth Engineer at Chevron Shipping Company, where I developed expertise in machinery maintenance, safety protocols, and incident investigation. My role involved executing operations and maintenance of onboard machineries, preparing and operating cargo plants, and ensuring safety through rigorous analysis and preventive measures.Currently, I serve as Manager of Sustainability & EHS at Pidilite Industries Ltd., where I have led various initiatives to enhance sustainability practices and ensure safety across Chemical manufacturing plants in India. My contributions, to name a few, include reducing hazardous waste disposal costs, implementing rainwater harvesting solutions, and ESG Benchmarking against peer organizations to formalize sustainability roadmap for Pidilite. Additionally, I spearheaded the deployment of a new EHS software system, conducted materiality assessments, and led the successful BRSR reasonable assurance audit of the unit's sustainability and EHS practices.Innovation is at the core of my approach, and I have pioneered several digital tools that have streamlined processes, improved safety, and enhanced operational efficiency. I feel both humble and proud of automating and designing end to end custom tailored Digital Products involving Power automate flows, Power Bi dashboards etc. My hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, combined with my corporate experience, has given me a unique perspective on how to drive sustainability and safety improvements at all levels of an organization.I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities to make a positive impact through sustainable practices and innovative solutions.
