My role is to elicit the client’s requirements, translate them to the technical team, and oversee the project from inception to completion using agile methodology.Some of the tasks that I perform are:- Analyzing the potential leads of software development and working with the concerned teams based on the requirement and technology.- Creating an Understanding and Queries document to clarify the client’s requirements and requesting a meeting to discuss them in detail.- Preparing a Scope of Work(SOW) document that outlines the objective, features, modules, estimate breakdown, and other services of the project.- Reviewing the Scope of Work document and the Work Breakdown Structure sheet with the technical team and the client and getting their approval.- Creating a Software Requirement Specification(SRS) document that details out all the technical requirements, features, and modules of the project.- Taking a Kick off meeting with the client and the development team to start the project.- Taking weekly meetings with the client and the development team and daily stand up meetings to monitor the progress and resolve any issues.- Delivering the project to the client and conducting a Retrospective Meeting to get feedback and suggestions for improvement.- Preparing a Closure Report based on the project overall health and client’s feedback.Being a business analyst I enjoy working on challenging and diverse projects that allow me to learn new things and grow as a professional.
